Rhys Webber is a Commercial Photographer.

Webber Photo is the commercial photography arm of Webber Design Limited, the graphic design and photography studio based in Newport, South Wales. I (Rhys Webber) have been taking photographs commercially since my first paid job in '86, and followed this up with a BA (Hons) in Photography & New Media (graduated 1992).

I undertake a range of commercial photography projects whilst also finding the time for my own personal work which I frequently exhibit.

I have a wide experience in Portraiture & Fashion photography, Industrial Photography, Product Photography, Corporate Photography and Event Photography. I hope you like my work and look forward to discussing your photographic requirements. I have many photography clients in Newport, across South Wales and the UK.

There’s no such thing as a dull photoshoot for me as I strive to get the best out of every shot, and frequently like to challenge myself by learning new techniques and styles.

My studio is based in Newport, South Wales, but I also have portable equipment so that I can shoot with studio quality lighting on location.

Not a Wedding Photographer!

I've got nothing against wedding photography, and have shot a few for family and friends over the years, but it's not really my thing. If you are looking for great wedding photography then go check out the work of my friend Mansel Davies.

Lifelong learning, developing my skills

At University I focused (pun intended of course) on documentary style photography work, but on graduation I realised that I needed to expand my skillset to be able to make a decent living from photography. As a son of teachers, lifelong learning was always the way - so over the last few decades I've striven to constantly develop (sorry) my photography skills, pushing myself out of my comfort zone to constantly learn new techniques, new styles and new ways of working. The result of this is that I'm happy to call myself a Jack of All Shoots - confident and skilled in People/Portrait Photography, Product Photography, Event Photography, Industrial Photography, Fashion and Beauty Photography and Travel Photography.

I have a photography studio in Newport, South Wales, but also portable studio/lighting photographic solutions so I can travel to your place of work if required.
