Personal Projects
I photograph because people pay me to photograph. More than that though, I photograph because I'm passionate about photography and have been since I was a teenager shooting photos of my friends (on film of course!). When I'm not shooting for clients I create my own little - and not so little - projects to explore various aspects of photography. One constant over the last 10 years has been my photographic portraiture of the good people of Newport, South Wales. I've shot hundreds of people for my Newportraits and Welsh From Everywhere projects, and will continue to add to this archive.
I'm always striving to expand my knowledge and skills, so regularly choose to get out of my comfort zone and try new things photographically. Here's a selection of Personal photographic Projects which I'll be adding to from time to time.
