Welsh From Everywhere: Cwtsh

In March 2023 I was invited to exhibit my Welsh From Everywhere project in a solo show at the Cwtsh Arts Centre in Newport. As part of the show I had to invigilate the exhibition every weekend for a month. Rather than just sit back and wait for people to visit to see the show, I decided to set up a portable photographic studio in the exhibition space and invite attendees to sit for a portrait. I had an excellent reception and photographed many people over the course of the 4 sessions, and here are some of my favourite portraits.
